Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
To assemble and test a product by following written/pictorial build procedures.
Further Details:
Key duties:
1. To build assemblies in accordance with appropriate procedures.
2. To carry out rework and modifications in accordance with relevant IPC standards.
3. To compile test reports and other relevant documentation.
4. To carry out inspection on appropriate products and stamp to self certify work prior to release to the customer.
5. To conduct basic test routines at sub-assembly and GA levels.
6. To carry out finishing operations prior to shipment to customer.
7. To maintain input to business information systems as appropriate.
Job Related Experience
Essential
• Able to follow written procedures to test a product at general assembly and sub-assembly levels.

• Experience of SMT manufacturing, able to identify different component types, values and correct orientation.

Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
Operating within a matrix oriented organisation to provide focus and leadership for the Company’s activities on one or more programmes and/or bid activities to meet cost, quality and schedule objectives.

Key duties:
1. To provide leadership on one or more programmes/projects with accountability for project performance against its key success criteria. Key success criteria will typically relate to performance within budget, achieving technical performance requirements and completing activities to schedule.
2. Risk management: to identify and quantify risks to the achievement of the key success criteria and planning and executing activities to minimise the impact of each risk.
3. To maintain customer relations through development of an honest business relationship with procurement and engineering staff based on effective communication and adherence to promises.
4. To prepare and maintain project plans to include budgets, resource requirements, task allocation, task dependencies, quality standards etc.

Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
Operating within a matrix oriented organisation to provide leadership of the Engineering Team on one or more projects and/or bid activities within an Integrated Project Team.
To be responsible for the performance, management, measurement and reporting of all engineer functions within team of responsibility.
To provide leadership and development of multi-disciplinary teams to meet the requirements of the business and its customers.

Key duties:
1. To provide leadership on one or more projects within an Integrated Project Team with accountability for project performance on engineering aspects against key success criteria, whilst ensuring team adherence to engineering processes.
2. To be responsible for generating and maintaining morale, discipline, performance management, good employee relations and communications within the project team(s).
3. To develop team members by identifying and recommending appropriate methods of training and development (e.g. PDR process) and to develop and maintain a training matrix. To ensure skills are up to date and ensuring that the team members regularly practice skills.
4. To assist in recruitment selection and induction of team members.
5. Apply risk management: to identify and quantify risks to the achievement of the key success criteria and planning and executing activities to minimise the impact of each risk.

Experience with the full aerospace equipment life cycle and of the development of bespoke equipment incorporating electronics and embedded software.
