Brand Manager
Up to £40,000 + £450 car allowance - Peterborough OR Headcorn, (nr Maidstone), Kent
Permanent
£35000 to £40000 per annum
To lead and develop the category plans for the brands within our clients drinks, fresh cut fruit and Sandwiches. This is a role which puts the candidate in the lead seat to grow and expand the drinks, fruit and sandwich business. The candidate will be responsible for the brand development.
KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES
Strategic Planning
To proactively question and make recommendations to the marketing director to answer the strategic issues that face the 3 categories and the foodservice channel.
To work with the customers and create joint business plans together for mutual benefit of both parties. Understand the customers strategic agenda and make recommendations that fit their agenda and push the business forward.
Project Implementation
To drive projects through the business to a set process.
Drive cross-functional working across the business and influence key parties to deliver the project objectives.
Identifies and manages political impacts upon the project.
Identifies and aligns required sub projects with the programme goals.
Develops appropriate project standards where appropriate.
To report to customers across the categories on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Formulates marketing plans that fulfill company strategic objectives.
Clearly understand the categories and the key value levers and proposes marketing tools that pull the right levers and drive value sales.
Presents plans to Sales, Board, NPD, Operations, Supply Chain to gain Company wide acceptance.
New Product Development
To construct plans for the new brands or the stretching of existing brands in the drinks, fruit and sandwich category. There is a particular emphasis on launching new drinks.
A cross functional approach needs to be applied.
Working with a set of design, research and branding agencies.

Sales Manager - Up to £60,000 - Hampshire
Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
To, individually or as part of a team, identify, pursue and close sales opportunities in accordance with the agreed business strategy for allocated regions or specific enquiries.
Permanent
£50000 to £60000 per annum
Key duties:
1. To maintain relationships with Customers and external agencies within the allocated region in order to develop/identify new/further opportunities that fall within the Company’s capability and in line with the Company’s strategy.
2. For allocated opportunities to:
• Secure approval from the Company on the price, terms and specification that can be offered.
• Co-ordinate and lead the timely submission of information, quotations and proposals to Customers.
• Follow up such quotes/proposals in order to secure the contract/purchase order.
3. From time to time to represent and promote our client at trade shows.
4. To maintain adequate records of all customer contacts, communications and reports.
5. To provide accurate sales and bookings forecast on a weekly basis.
6. To support the Sales Director in preparing budget sales forecasts.
7. To contribute to any changes as may be required to the formulation of revised business plans and strategies.
8. To undertake such travel as may be required in order to execute the above duties.
9. To provide comprehensive trip reports for all customer visits, trade show attendance and industry seminars.
Essential Experience:
Educated to Degree level in Business Administration or relevant technical discipline with extensive sales experience in the aerospace sector.
Customer relationship management
- Experience of managing and monitoring significant customer accounts.
- Experience of responding to communications from customers in a timely way.
- Experience of providing accurate information as required by the customer
Sales.
- Experience of identifying business opportunities.
- Experience of closing sales with customers.
- Experience of gaining and working with new customers.

- Must have an understanding of the aerospace industry in general.

- Experienced in negotiation with internal customers to achieve customer requirements.

- Experience of working with customers, suppliers and other company departments.

- Experience of making presentations to customers and suppliers.

Demonstrable success in a similar role. Must be aware of the FAA and CAA regulations for the industry.
